Here are the nature-based events we will be holding for April 2026.
Come to the Youth Matters event at Derby Road playing fields this Saturday 11am-4pm to discover what lives there.
This is followed by a Sunday nature walk round Shaw Farm (up Eaves Knoll) to look at the improvements for nature carried out by farmer George Burgess -meet at the Town Hall at 10:30.
The following Saturday 25th features a bee-themed Nature Cafe at the Rock Mill Centre, with various activities for adults and children to provide for, and celebrate, local bee populations.
Finally, on Wednesday 29th April we will hold our Annual General Meeting at 7pm (arrive from 6:30 for a prompt start), including a talk on ‘Mousley Bottom Past and Future’ by ex-Derbyshire County Council conservationist Paul Finn.
